VectorLearning Now a Six-time Finalist for the Tampa Bay Business Journal Best Places to Work

The eLearning and online corporate training provider for the AEC, healthcare, public safety and power utility industries, recently joined 59 other local companies nominated as finalists for 2013. The winner will be selected April 18, at Hotel Tampa.

Tampa, FL – VectorLearning, comprised of premier online continuing education and corporate training providers RedVector, Care2Learn, SmartTeam and most recently CiNet, has once more joined an elite list of local businesses chosen as finalists for the Tampa Bay Business Journal 2013 Best Places to Work. This marks the sixth time VectorLearning has been a finalist for the award; the company earned previous nominations in 2005, 2006, 2009, 2011 and 2012.

This year 60 companies were selected following an internal review process, during which employees from each company were asked to complete an anonymous 37-question online survey designed to measure “10 key engagement categories focusing on items including team effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, manager effectiveness, compensation and benefits.”

The top three companies in each size category—Nearly Big, Big, Bigger and Biggest—will be honored during a ceremony held at Hotel Tampa (formerly Hyatt Regency Tampa) on April 18. The company that scores highest overall will be named the Best Place to Work in Tampa Bay.

“It’s exhilarating to set goals and watch them come to life,” says VectorLearning CEO Tom Wallace. “We have always been a company deeply committed to our team members and to creating a strong, productive work environment where every individual is encouraged to excel. To know that year after year our people feel valued and empowered makes me proud, and their satisfaction is at the heart of our continued growth and success. I can only hope VectorLearning continues to set the example for other local businesses for years to come.”
